40/365 - Fishing on Pleasant Pond

When my son, Scott, was just 3 months old we bought our first home on Pleasant Pond in Wenham Ma. It was a small house...but it was home. We would walk to this small felt like it was our own private beach. And there was a hill behind the pond that lead into the woods..We used to take a walk up that hill and called it "Scott's Mountain". We sold the house when Scott was about 3 1/2 But It is fun to take a drive down to the pond every now and then and reminisce.

36/365 - Newport RI

My friend Mary and I left at 10:00 a.m. this morning heading down to Sheep Pasture in Easton MA. Never made it....we took a wrong turn and ended up in Newport RI....When I took the wrong turn we decided to continue on our "road trip". Unfortunately we left behind the 80 degree weather in MA and went in to the cool 50 degree weather by the water. All in all it was a fun day. Thanks Mary!

I am attending the Nordstrom's Grand Opening Gala at our local mall this month.
I found a sassy, chic, fun dress to wear.

Nordstroms holds a Grand Open Gala when ever they open a new store. It is a huge fundraiser at the Store with dinner, drinks, music and shopping. Nordstroms selects 3 non-profit organizations to donate the proceeds from this event. The Non-Profit Hospital that I work for and do fundraising for, is one of the recipients for this Opening. We are expectind about 1,000 people to attend...It Sounds like a fun fun evening.
